Miss Shayna began studying dance at the age of 2 in New York City with her mom Maria.  She has performed commercially for companies and acts such as Nike, Univision Apollo, Menudo, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Nesty, Plan B and toured with Nicky Jam, Karol G, Nacho, and Mariah Angeliq.

For over 24 years, Shayna has studied and taught hip hop, jazz, tap, street funk, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, acro, and modern. She received a scholarship to train with the Joffrey Ballet in NYC and Miami and has trained under Aushi Oskarsdottir, Maiysha Cade, VigdisHentze Olsen, and John Wellington-Simon to name only a few. 

From 2016-19 Shayna was selected as a Miami Heat Dancer out of thousands who auditioned for one of the 23 slots available.

In addition to dance, Shayna recognized the importance of continuing her academic career, graduating from Indian River State College with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Dance.
