Miss Maria began her dance training as a young girl at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City with concentrations in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. She has been featured in productions such as Hanging with the Homeboys and was chosen to be a Fly Girl for In Living Color. She danced a role in Univision Apollo while choreographing for K.T.U. Radio Station in NYC and trained at the Laguardia Performing Artsa Studio in Manhattan and Ridgewood Dance Studio in NYC.
Maria began teaching at 15 and received resident choreographer and coach status for National, Regional, and the State of New York for creative choreography in competitions. She has trained with some of the best dance teachers in the world to include: Debbie Allen, Bill Hotaling, Frank Hatchett, and Charles “Chuck” Kelley. Maria relocated to Port St Lucie in 2000 with her family and has been teaching her love of for dance for students ages 3 to adult on the Treasure Coast for the past 20 years.
