Athenia Williams

 Mrs. Athenia is very new to the Treasure Coast area. She moved to Florida from Minneapolis, Minnesota early July 2020 and is excited to be a part of the Turn Up The Heat family. Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Athenia started dancing at the age of 12 and immediately knew after her first dance class, she wanted to make a professional career out of this industry.  She was a member of her high school and collegiate dance teams and continued her passion into the sports entertainment field as a Dancer on multiple NBA (National Basketball Association) teams including the: New Jersey Nets (prior to becoming the Brooklyn Nets), Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. After a few years in the NBA as a Dancer, Athenia advanced her position, as she was offered the role of Dance and Entertainment Manager with the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx organization. Over the past eight seasons from 2012 to 2020, all seven of the dance entertainment teams were run by Athenia, allowing every aspect of each team's performance at Timberwolves games to have her stamp of approval, from choreography to uniforms to music to style. Athenia has choreographed for many celebs including G-Eazy, Lil Jon, Montell Jordan, Sheila E., Bell Biv DeVoe....the list goes on and on, however, her favorite moment of her career so far was working/collaborating with Matt Steffanina on a dance video with the Timberwolves Dancers.
