Miss Amanda began dancing at the age of three in Miami, FL. She attended Patricia Penenori Dance Studio where she learned ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary/modern, flamenco, and hip hop. During her 15 years of training she placed top three with her solos at several regional competitions and was crowned Teen Miss Headliners at the National level. Amanda attended high school at the prestigious New World School of The Arts with a focus in Dance. There she was selected by professors to perform in over 6 concert pieces and had a solo choreographed on her for Young Arts 2013. Amanda received her BFA in Dance from Florida State University and BS in Business Management. Amanda has attended Joffrey Contemporary, Boston Ballet, and San Francisco Conservatory summer intensives. Amanda was featured in a music video with contemporary artists, Adair Powers. She has performed in New York with Ilana Goldman, Samantha Pazos, and Caitlin Javech. She auditioned and rehearsed with Mishi Dance Company prior to Covid when she moved back home to Miami, FL. Amanda has years of experience teaching all levels of dance at Patricia Penenori Dance Center, Tallahassee Ballet, and The Vault. Most of all, Amanda is excited to be working with all the talented teachers and students at Turn Up The Heat!
