Miss Shayna began studying dance at the age of 2 in New York City with her mom Maria.  She has performed commercially for companies and acts such as Nike, Univision Apollo, Menudo, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Nesty, Plan B and toured with Nicky Jam, Karol G, Nacho, and Mariah Angeliq.

For over 24 years, Shayna has studied and taught hip hop, jazz, tap, street funk, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, acro, and modern. She received a scholarship to train with the Joffrey Ballet in NYC and Miami and has trained under Aushi Oskarsdottir, Maiysha Cade, VigdisHentze Olsen and John Wellington-Simon to name only a few. 

From 2016-19 Shayna was selected as a Miami Heat Dancer out of thousands who auditioned for one the 23 slots available.

In addition to dance, Shayna recognized the importance of continuing her academic career, graduating from Indian River State College with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Dance.

Miss Maria began her dance training as a young girl at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City with concentrations in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. She has been featured in productions such as Hanging with the Homeboys and was chosen to be a Fly Girl for In Living Color. She danced a role in Univision Apollo while choreographing for K.T.U. Radio Station in NYC and trained at the Laguardia Performing Arts Studio in Manhattan and Ridgewood Dance Studio in NYC.

Maria began teaching at 15 and received resident choreographer and coach status for National, Regional, and the State of New York for creative choreography in competitions. She has trained with some of the best dance teachers in the world to include: Debbie Allen, Bill Hotaling, Frank Hatchett, and Charles “Chuck” Kelley. Maria relocated to Port St Lucie in 2000 with her family and has been teaching her love of for dance for students ages 3 to adult on the Treasure Coast for the past 20 years. 

Mr King is a Certified Personal Trainer and USABF, Certified Boxing Coach. He is a health professional with extensive experience in management of individual physical fitness exercise initiatives, personal performance program development and customized training techniques. King managed the personal training business of one of New York Sports Club top locations and the Mendez Boxing Gym in New York. His certifications include: Licensed USA Boxing Coach and Trainer, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, American Heart Association Adult CPR and AED, ASFA Group Fitness/Boot Camp Instructor Certification. King works one-on-one with various clients on boxing techniques and conditioning utilizing various heavy bags, speed bag, double end bag and focus mitts. He designed a comprehensive boxing camp consisting of specialized training techniques to include aerobics, conditioning, and plyometrics. King privately trained Cuba Gooding Jr. and Lisa Lampinelli in boxing and weight training and was later referred to Antonio Gooding who successfully lost 45 pounds. He has provided personal security for celebrities such as Sinbad, Brad Pitt, Halle Berry and Ricky Martin.

Miss Erika began dancing at the age 5 with Miss Maria and Miss Shayna at the Dance Academy of Stuart.  She has attended Jump Dance Convention, Revel Dance Convention, Fusion Dance Competition, Underground Dance Convention, Believe National Dance Competition, and the World Dance Championship in Newark, NJ where she holds a world title after placing 1st overall in hip-hop.  She has also received a full scholarship to the Debbie Allen hip-hop summer intensive program in Los Angeles, CA.  She has trained with Seans Dance Factory, True Crew Dance Company, UCF's Rukus Entertainment,  Underground Movement, and DGBEK studios.  She was a finalist for UCF's KnightMoves Dance Team as well as the 2019 Orlando Magic Dance Team "The 407".  She has recently began dancing for the National Arena League as a 2020 Orlando Predators Football Dancer.  In addition to dance, Erika attends the University of Central Florida where she is  working toward her B.S. degree in Kinesiology of Sport and Exercise Physiology.  She will continue to train in the Orlando dance community to share and inspire others with her passion of dance.

Miss Mckaleigh started dancing at the age of 3, she trained at Pittsford Dance Studio in Rochester, New York where she danced competitively from the age of 5 to 18.  From there she moved to New York City to train at The Joffrey Ballet School's jazz and contemporary program for 2 years.  She trained in styles including ballet, Horton, contermporary, jazz, theater, Cunningham Graham, and voice.  From there she started dancing professionally with RWS Entertainment Group also in New York City where she helped with the creation of Step One Dance Company for Holland America Line.  She is currently still dancing for them and hopes to spread her love and passion for dance by teaching other dancers.  

Mrs.Athenia is very new to the Treasure Coast area. She moved to Florida from Minneapolis, Minnesota early July 2020 and is excited to be a part of the Turn Up The Heat family.  

Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Athenia started dancing at the age of 12 and immediately knew after her first dance class, she wanted to make a professional career out of this industry.  She was a member of her high school and collegiate dance teams, and continued her passion into the sports entertainment field as a Dancer on multiple NBA (National Basketball Association) teams including the: New Jersey Nets (prior to becoming the Brooklyn Nets), Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. After a few years in the NBA as a Dancer Athenia advanced her position, as she was offered the role of Dance and Entertainment Manager with the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx organization. Over the past eight seasons from 2012 - 2020, all seven of the dance entertainment teams were run by Athenia, allowing every aspect of each team's performance at Timberwolves games to have her stamp of approval, from choreography to uniforms to music to style.

Athenia has choreographed for many celebs including G-Eazy, Lil Jon, Montell Jordan, Sheila E., Bell Biv DeVoe....the list goes on and on, however, her favorite moment of her career so far was working/collaborating with Matt Steffanina on a dance video with the Timberwolves Dancers. 

Born and raised in Florida, Miss Madison began studying dance and fine arts at the early age of 3.  Madison has over 16 years of professionally trained dance experience, specializing in ballet.  At 8, she started her classical ballet training under some of the best known professionals in the ballet industry.   Miss Madison has spent countless hours studying the origin of classical ballet and practicing correct technique. She also has a great deal of experience and has received professional training in modern, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and musical theatre.  Miss Madison has been teaching ballet for 3 years while working with children of all ages in our community for more than 7 years.  She has also studied education and theatre arts/dance alongside Miss Shayna at IRSC.  Madison has performed in numerous shows with lead roles that have been showcased on our historically famous "Sunrise Theatre's" stage.  She has also made appearances in a music video and a magazine spread.  Some of Madison's favorite roles include Clara (The Nutcracker), Arabian Lead (The Nutcracker), Fairy (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Esmeralda's friend (Coppelia), Swan Lake, Newsies, Damn Yankees, and MANY more!
